Mr. Obed Mwebesa

Is the Managing Partner at Obed Mwebesa & Associated Advocates and he holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University and a Post-Graduate Diploma from the Law Development Centre.

He is equally a resourceful and knowledgeable legal practitioner who has engaged in active practice for over twenty-five years. He is also a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East Africa Law Society.

His practice is connoted by careful and well thought out advice given to clients of certain repute. Mr. Obed Mwebesa has been at the forefront of advising some of the astute businessmen and high profile companies in the country in regards of settling disputes in an amicable manner which has in turn saved and earned them colossal sums of money.

Counsel Obed has also grown and crafted a skill in Election Petition matters where he has mastered the art and has successfully represented various Politicians and the Electoral Commission in Court where he has always put up a successful spirited fight for his clients.

Mr. Mwebesa has also participated in nurturing the country’s next legal generation, as he has for several years taught in various universities and he is currently an examiner at the Law Development Center.

Counsel Obed Mwebesa also sits on several boards and he is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Kampala International University.
